What is Ticket Turtle?

Ticket Turtle is an affordable, hosted software product for the performing arts that integrates ticket sales with data management and fundraising operations.

What sets Ticket Turtle apart from other ticketing software?

Ticket Turtle was designed exclusively for the performing arts. As such, the features out perform systems which are designed to address the many other kids of organizations which sell tickets.

We've honed the feature set to include the essentials for running a successful performing arts organization. Keeping your bottom line in mind, the system is priced for non-profits.

How quickly can my theatre be up and running?

30 days is a comfortable pace to exchange information and get your staff and volunteers acclimated to their new software.

However, we will work with you on a "go live yesterday" basis. Talk to your Solutions Consultant about getting going ASAP.

How does Ticket Turtle work with my website?

When a ticket buyer clicks on "buy ticket" they are directed seamlessly to Ticket Turtle secure servers, only visible by looking at the URL.

Our Client Services department will code the web-match to your graphics and build the ticketing buy path to look and feel like your site.

How does Ticket Turtle help me market my events?

Ticket sales and patron profiles are securely stored in the system for your reporting and marketing purposes. Our list management system lets you target your market, output labels, merge mail files and send emails (complete with HTML formatting) directly out of the system at no additional cost. The result is a powerful marketing engine to help you compete effectively for theater dollars.

Do I need an IT department to manage the system?

No. The system was designed to be easy to use for the beginner and satisfying for the expert. Anyone can get in and use it and there lots of nifty tools that your experienced geeks will enjoy. We provide ongoing, friendly, support and training.

Can we run Ticket Turtle on our own servers?

No. Ticket Turtle is a hosted software. We maintain the security and integrity of the system.

Can I get my data out if I want to discontinue using Ticket Turtle?

Yes. Your data is your own. Data export can be performed at any time in the life of your account.

What about privacy, security, and confidentiality?

Your patron data is entirely your own. Ticket Turtle staff will access your data only to assist you with your account.

The co-location facility where our servers are housed has multiple internet connections to alternate backbones and redundant power backups.

Client data is backed up daily (with log shipping to redundant on-site database server every 5 minutes) and redundant backups are taken off-site weekly to a second secure location.

What equipment do I need to use Ticket Turtle?

A computer and a high-speed internet connection.

Is training required to learn how to use Ticket Turtle?

Yes. We host webinar sessions on all aspects of the system and have help files available augment training sessions.

Yes. Ticket Turtle is unique among its competitors in that we do not charge fees to process contributions to your organization. Regular credit card fees apply, but without additional user fee from Ticket Turtle.

Can my patrons exchange tickets?

Yes. This feature is on you can turn on and off, and determine the charge to your patrons.

How do I bring my existing mailing list, contribution history, or ticketing history into Ticket Turtle?

Our professional tech staff will import your data into Ticket Turtle.

Contact solutions@ticketturtle.com and our friendly and knowledgeable staff will provide you with information on how to get your data to us, and a quote for the cost of import. You can choose to import a full ticketing history, or just your mailing list.
